If you are going to run a business online it is critical to get traffic to your website. Without traffic you will find it very difficult to make any good money from your site.

No visitors obviously means no customers. Even if you have a whizz, bang, slick, awesome site, but have no traffic, then it will be very hard to make it work.

Ever had a feeling that there is way to much information? There are so many websites all boasting that they can send you traffic or sell you a product that can tell you how to get traffic.

3. So how do you get relevant targeted traffic?
An easy way is to join forums specifically in your niche. You can join the community and provide comments and feedback to topics on the forum.

If there is a signature allowed in your signature field then you can link through to one of your websites that are in the same niche.

You need to be genuine about this – register and provide feedback to others about topics on the forum. Include your web address details in your signature.

If you show credibility and become a regular part of the forum – people are likely to visit your website and then are more likely to buy your products.

4. Make sure you have your keywords in your domain name. This will attract the search engines and generate traffic naturally. Then optimize your website so that it attracts the search engines.
