Recently I had a young lady send me an email, not long after leaving a comment on one of my posts. I have to be honest, her question took me back a little bit.

Nothing great was ever achieved by yourself. This totally makes sense. If you want to achieve something great with your website then you should get the help of others.

Including others in your project will add value and direction.

The following 5 ideas are ideas that will require others to help you complete. If you join up and combine your efforts you can achieve greater things.

So, consider who you know online in your industry and combine your efforts for greater reward. If you don’t know anyone, then all you need to do is ask.

Traffic Idea 1 – Exchange Links
Contact other webmasters direct and ask if they can exchange links with you. Target those in your niche for maximum results. A lot may not even answer you but you should persist. This is an effective way to get traffic.

If people don’t reply, then simply move onto the next person. You never know, one day they may want a link from you. The more people you join up with the better results you will get.

Traffic Idea 2 – Network
Live in a large city or town? If so go to your local Internet Marketing event or seminar if there is one. Meet others and create a small network of friends and colleagues who you can rely on.

Meeting others face to face is very effective. If you don’t have such an event in your town or city, then do a bit of research online and you will discover plenty of places you could visit to join into other cities events.

Traffic Idea 3 – Thank You Pages
Advertise on other product’s “thank you” pages. When someone has just bought something there is an opportunity for them to buy more while they are in ‘Buying Mood”.

Take the opportunity to advertise on someone else’s “Thank you” page. You may be surprised at the results.

Traffic Idea 4 – Product Review
Send a free copy of your product to other site owners in exchange for a product review. This is ideal as they get a free product and you get a free backlink to your site.

All you need to do to arrange this is email them and they will either respond – or not respond. i.e. You have nothing to lose – so do it !

Traffic Idea 5 – Other People’s Lists
Purchase advertising in other people’s mailing lists and newsletters. This is very cost effective and can expose your site to thousands of readers.

“A Great Way To Build Up Repeat Visitors”

If you have a blog this is an effective way to get repeat visitors to your site. Just ensure your blog is worth visiting.

Teamwork is a really effective way to get lots of easy traffic. OK, if you are just starting out online it may be a bit duanting at first.

But once you have established yourself then remember down the track to start looking for opportunities to team up and make the most of each other.
