Need more Free Website Traffic?
I know I could always do with some more.
Here is a Step by Step procedure to get some more website traffic. It includes pictures ! Yeee Haa!
We are going to use Dog Collars as an example.
Step 1.
Go to the Google keyword tool and search for Dog Collars.
Step 2.
Change the search query to Exact. See the image below.

Step 3.
After changing to Exact – Hit the search again and then scroll down the results.
It should look something like this.

You can see that there is limited competition for some of the keywords.
You should target them. However, firstly check to see if there is ACTUALLY limited competition.
How do you do this?
Use the allintitle command in the Google search box. Check out the image below.

You can see that there is lots of competition for the phrase ‘Dog Collars’. Best to avoid that one!
Step 4.
Try another phrase from the previous search you did.
Let’s try ‘Soft Dog Collars’.
Here are the results.

You can see that there is much less competition. This means you should TARGET this phrase with content and make sure the phrase is in your URL or webpage name.

Only problem is if you happen to pick a topic that is not well searched to begin with, you won’t get a lot of traffic. I am fairly well ranked for Farm Town, but am only seeing about 1300 visitors a day on farmtownhero.com . I just don’t think there are that many people that go and do a search for my terms, they already know what the game is and where to find it. Any tips for that?

Try and think about what the players would be searching for that is closely related to the game. Would they search for any aspects to improve their performance in the game?
Basically, think about all the micro niches within the game and you should come up with a huge list. Then you need to target each micro niche through each keyword.
Some niches will be easier to do than others. If you think you are at the end of the road for your niche, it might be time to start another one.
