Web 2.0 sites send traffic. These social sites can allow you to set up many profiles and create a ‘feeding frenzy’ around your website. Just like shark bait, if your blog or website is good enough you can get hundreds if not thousands of visitors checking you out.
You better make sure there is something good to look at too – otherwise you potentially will miss the easiest traffic of all – return visitors. Yes, producing quality that is unique and entertaining is ideal.
Think about which sites YOU have bookmarked, why you bookmarked them and then replicate those same principles on your site.
Back to the Web 2.0 Companies and their websites…..There are tons and tons of these sites popping up literally everyday and the list is getting bigger.
Obviously you want to capitalise on the sites that get the most traffic. So how do you find out which ones do? Fortunately for everyone, Seth Godin has produced a list showing just that. As written in his post;
” There are literally thousands of “web 2.0″ companies, and until now, there’s been no easy way to compare which ones are getting traffic. The list at the following link shows all the sites listed and the amount of traffic each one is recieving.”
So if you into Web 2.0 traffic building then you need to check this list out. It really is amazing. Check out the post here.
